A perfectly mild, sweet onion, Wall Walla Sweet Onions are best enjoyed raw or quickly sauteed so as to enjoy its natural juices. This onion is so sweet, that chefs turn to it for its mild bite and no tears. Paper-thin skin encapsulating a large, round onion, Walla Wallas can grow up to two pounds each and five inches in diameter! Not suited for long-term storage, use your Walla Wallas soon after harvest for fresh eating, cooking, or freezing.
