How do you ship?

Great product deserves great timing. Here's how we think about both:

Seed Orders: Seeds ship via USPS after a handling period of 1-3 business days, with most orders arriving within 2-4 business days from there.

Bulb Orders: Bulbs ship according to your USDA growing zone, so they arrive in your hands when your ground is actually ready to receive them. See our zone-based shipping schedule for dates.

Large Orders: Heavier or higher-volume orders may ship via FedEx to ensure the best experience.

Special Shipping Requirements: If your delivery address has a specific carrier requirement, reach out to us at service@edenbrothers.mom or give us a call at 855-440-2929 as soon as your order is placed. We'll do our best to accommodate and will follow up if any additional options or fees apply.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking: Once your order leaves our warehouse, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking — so you know exactly where things stand.

Do you offer International Shipping?

At this time, we ship within the United States only. Seeds and bulbs are living agricultural products, and international shipments are subject to import and export regulations, inspections, and permitting requirements that vary significantly by country. We're not currently equipped to navigate those requirements, which means we can't guarantee products arrive in plantable condition — or at all. If this changes in the future, we'll be sure to let our subscribers know.

Why is my order arriving in separate shipments?

Seeds and bulbs run on different clocks — and we ship them that way on purpose.

Seeds are available year-round and typically ship shortly after your order is placed. Bulbs and perennials are seasonal: they ship when it's the right time to plant them in your growing zone.

If your order includes both, here's what to expect:

  • Seeds ship based on our standard shipping policy
  • Bulbs and perennials ship according to your USDA growing zone and our seasonal schedule
  • You'll receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment as they leave the warehouse

For seasonal shipping dates, visit our seasonal shipping schedule.

Can I change my shipping timeframe?

We always recommend reaching out to our Garden Support Team to see if an alternate shipping date may be available. Please keep in mind that many of our bulbs do not arrive at our warehouse until it's time for them to ship, which can limit our ability to adjust shipping schedules. We'll be happy to review your order and let you know what options may be available.

Reach out at service@edenbrothers.mom or give us a call at 855-440-2929.

How Many Seeds Are in a Packet, Ounce, or Pound?

Most of our seed products are sold by weight, not count. Where we can, we include average seed counts and coverage estimates in the Planting Information on each product page. The Coverage section will show you:

  • Average seed count per package size
  • Recommended planting coverage
  • Available package size options, where applicable

For flower seeds, Wildflowers and Cover Crops, coverage information is the most useful guide for determining how much you'll need for your space.

For vegetables and herbs, a single packet is typically enough for the average home garden through one full growing season — though the product page will have the specifics.

Are your products GMO?

All of our seeds, bulbs, and plants are non-GMO. We've made that commitment as part of our Safe Seed Pledge, and it applies across everything we grow and sell. You can read the full pledge here.

Are your seeds treated?

Most of our seeds are untreated. Some varieties are coated with a fungicidal treatment to support germination and early establishment, particularly in challenging growing conditions. If a variety has been treated, it will be clearly noted on the product page and packaging.

Questions about a specific variety? Our Garden Support team can help at service@edenbrothers.mom or 855-440-2929.

Do You Offer Heirloom, Hybrid, and Organic Seeds?

Yes! We offer a wide selection of heirloom, open-pollinated, hybrid, and organic seeds to meet the needs of every gardener.

How to find what you're looking for:

  • Heirloom Seeds – Clearly labeled as "Heirloom" in the product title or product page.
  • Hybrid Seeds – Known hybrid varieties are identified on the product page.
  • Organic Seeds – Organic varieties are clearly marked in the product title.
  • Open-Pollinated Seeds – Any variety not specifically labeled as Heirloom or Hybrid.

For more information, visit our Glossary page to understand how we classify different seeds and bulbs. Whether you're saving seed from season to season, growing certified organic, or chasing hybrid vigor, there's something here for the way you garden.

How Should I Store Unused Seeds?

Our recommendation is to buy for the season you're planting. But if you have seed left over, proper storage keeps it viable longer than most people expect.

To store unused seeds:

  • Seal them in an airtight container or plastic bag to protect against moisture and insects
  • Keep them somewhere cool, dark, and dry — away from sunlight and humidity
  • Skip the refrigerator; fluctuating moisture is harder on seed than temperature

Stored well, most seeds hold through the following growing season with excellent results. Our seeds typically lose less than 5% of their viability per year under ideal conditions.

Not sure if older seed is still good? A quick germination test will tell you:

Moisten a paper towel, place 10 seeds on one half, fold it over, and seal it in a plastic bag or airtight container. Keep it in a warm location appropriate for the variety, and check periodically over the seed's normal germination period. Count how many sprout — 8 of 10 means roughly 80% viability. If the rate is low, you can often compensate by sowing more thickly. Just keep in mind this measures viability under ideal conditions, so actual garden performance can vary with soil, moisture, and weather.

Does Eden Brothers offer a guarantee?

Yes. Eden Brothers stands behind every seed, bulb, root, and set it ships. The Grow Guarantee is our commitment that what you receive will be true to type and ready to thrive. If it doesn't grow under reasonable conditions, we will make it right – through a replacement, store credit, or another resolution that fits the situation. Read our full Grow Guarantee here.

To submit a claim, customers can contact the Garden Support Team at service@edenbrothers.mom with their order number and photos where available.

A few exceptions:

The guarantee covers product quality and trueness to type. It doesn't cover outcomes driven by factors outside Eden Brothers' control, including extreme weather, planting outside the appropriate zone or season, poor soil conditions, or improper storage. That said, gardening doesn't always go according to plan — and neither does the weather. If something went sideways despite your best efforts, reach out anyway. We would rather find a way to help than leave a gardener without a next step.

Clearance bulbs are sold as Final Sale and are not covered by the Grow Guarantee. These are still viable products, offered at reduced prices because the primary planting window is closing — but sizing, appearance, and first-year performance may vary, and they are not eligible for returns or refunds.

When Will My Wildflowers Bloom?

Bloom time depends on where you are, what you planted, and when you planted it — which is part of what makes wildflower gardens genuinely interesting to watch unfold.

Our mixes are designed to carry color across the growing season, with different varieties peaking at different times from spring through fall. The biggest variable is annual versus perennial:

  • Annual wildflowers bloom in their first season at varying times.
  • Perennial wildflowers typically spend their first year building root systems. They go dormant over winter and come back the following year — and every year after — with a more established, fuller presence.

The gardens that become most interesting over time are usually the ones that have had a season or two to settle in. Many wildflower gardens become even more beautiful and diverse with each passing season as perennial varieties mature and establish themselves.

I Received My Bulbs — Now What?

It's time to get planting! Unpack them and get them in the ground as soon as you can. Bulbs and perennial roots are living products, and they do best when they're not sitting in a box.

If you need to wait before planting:

  • Store in a cool, dark, dry place
  • Avoid excess moisture, heat, and direct sun
  • Refrigeration isn't necessary for most varieties

And a few exceptions:

  • Lilies and peony roots should go in the refrigerator if planting is more than a day or two away.
  • Ranunculus and Anemone are semi non-perishable, and can be stored for longer periods in a cool, dark and dry place until conditions are right for planting.

For detailed planting and care guidance, visit our planting and care guide.

Can I Have My Bulbs Shipped Out of Season?

In most cases, no — we don't ship bulbs outside their designated planting window. Timing matters too much. A bulb that ships at the wrong moment often arrives in poor condition, and one that sits in storage too long pays for it in performance. Shipping within the right seasonal window is how we stand behind what we sell. You can place your order any time of year, and we'll hold it and ship when the season is right for your region.

Our one exception is Clearance Bulbs:

As each planting season closes — spring bulbs in June, fall bulbs between October and December, holiday bulbs in January — we offer remaining inventory at deeply discounted prices. These bulbs are still very viable, but they're past their prime-time planting window for most of the country and may show early signs of sprouting. Get them in the ground quickly, and know that first-year blooms may be reduced. The good news: perennial bulbs come back. What doesn't fully show up this season will establish itself and return next year. Clearance bulbs are Final Sale and ship immediately.

Bulb Clearance: Is It Too Late to Plant? What Is the Refund Policy?

Not necessarily. Many bulbs can be planted successfully late in the season.

Fall-Planted Bulbs: As long as the ground is still workable and hasn't frozen, bulbs can still establish roots before winter and bloom when conditions return in spring.

Spring-Planted Bulbs: Get them in the ground immediately upon arrival. First-year blooms may be reduced — but perennial bulbs come back. What doesn't fully show up this season will establish itself and return in full force the following season.

Clearance bulbs are offered at deep discounts because the prime planting window is closing for most of the country. Planted promptly and given reasonable conditions, they will absolutely grow and thrive.

Before you purchase:

  • Plan to plant immediately upon delivery
  • Confirm your ground is workable and unfrozen
  • Check your local forecast and conditions before ordering

Clearance Bulb Policy: Because these bulbs are sold later in the season and at a significant discount, sizing, appearance, and performance in the current season may vary. Most Clearance Bulb items are Final Sale — they ship immediately while supplies last and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

If you're not sure whether late-season planting makes sense for your region, reach out before ordering. We'd rather help you make the right call than have you plant into ground that won't cooperate.

Why Do I Need an Email Address to Place an Order?

Your email is how we stay connected to your order from the moment you place it.

After checkout, you'll receive:

  • Order confirmation and receipt
  • Shipping notifications and tracking details
  • Any updates we need to share about your order

Your email also connects your orders to your account, which makes it easier to revisit your purchase history, reorder favorites, and keep track of what you've planted season to season.

Your privacy: We care deeply about protecting your information. Read our privacy policy here.

Do You Have a Catalog?

We do not offer a printed catalog at this time. As one of the first major online retailers of seeds and bulbs, our products are and have always been available exclusively through our website, where you'll find our most current selection, inventory, and pricing.

Because many of our products are seasonal and our inventory changes frequently, printed catalogs can quickly become outdated. By focusing on our website, we're able to provide the most accurate product information and availability in real time.

Prefer to talk it through? Our Garden Support Team is happy to help you place an order over the phone. Give us a call at 855-974-4021.

Can I Place My Order Over The Phone?

Absolutely! Our Garden Support Team is available Monday through Friday, 9-5 EST and ready to help you with variety selection, crop and trend planning, and regional guidance.

Reach out at 855-974-4021 – we're here, whether you need help finding the right variety or just prefer to place your order with a real person.

Do You Charge Sales Tax?

Yes, where required by law.

The amount depends on the products in your order, where it's shipping, and the origin of the shipment. If sales tax applies, it will be calculated automatically before you complete checkout.

Some customers — farmers, resellers, nonprofits, and other qualifying organizations — may be eligible for tax exemption. Visit our Sales Tax Information page for details on exemptions and which states require collection.

Is the Eden Brothers Showroom or Warehouse Open to the Public?

Our warehouse isn't open for public visits – a decision we didn't make lightly, knowing how much our local community valued that connection. It wasn't operationally sustainable to maintain, but it's not something we've closed the door on entirely. We're actively exploring warehouse sale events and other ways to bring that experience back in a new form. The best way to hear about those opportunities first is to join our email list. In the meantime, everything we sell ships directly to your door — and you'll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Can I Use More Than One Coupon or Discount on My Order?

It depends on the promotion. Eden Brothers regularly runs sitewide offers alongside exclusive discounts for email and SMS subscribers — and in some cases, they can be combined. Whether they can will always be clearly stated in the promotion details, so there's no guesswork at checkout.

A couple of things to keep in mind: promotional codes need to be entered at checkout and can't be applied after an order is placed. If you're not sure whether two offers can stack, the promotion details will tell you. If you have questions, feel free to give us a call at 855-974-4021.

The best way to make sure you never miss an offer is to join our email list, where subscribers get access to exclusive discounts and early access to sales that you won't find on the site.

What Payment Methods Does Eden Brothers Accept?

We accept:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Apple Pay
  • Shop Pay
  • PayPal

We do not accept personal checks or payment by mail. Questions at checkout? Our Garden Support Team can help at 855-974-4021 or service@edenbrothers.mom.

Do You Offer Commercial or Wholesale Pricing?

Many of our customers are flower farmers, market growers, and commercial producers — and we love that. If you're growing at scale or purchasing for commercial use, you can check out the bulk pricing by product displayed on our website, or reach out to our sales team at 855-974-4021 or at sales@edenbrothers.mom to discuss how we can best support your specific growing needs.

Can I Resell, Repackage or Distribute Your Seeds & Bulbs?

It depends on what you have in mind. Using our seeds or bulbs as part of a wedding, event, or personal community project is completely fine. That's the kind of thing our products are made for.

What isn't permitted is repackaging or reselling through third-party marketplaces or retail channels – Amazon, Etsy, retail storefronts or similar – without prior written consent. Eden Brothers reserves the right to cancel orders or suspend accounts associated with unauthorized resale activity.

If you're interested in a commercial arrangement, reach out to our sales team at 855-974-4021 or at sales@edenbrothers.mom to talk through how we can best support your specific situation.
