Wonderfully special Allium Bulgaricum sends up elegant three to four foot stems topped with nodding, distinctive bell-shaped blooms striped in creamy white, maroon and green. Flowering in late spring into early summer, the dangling florets gradually lift upright as they mature into ornamental seed pods for extended interest. Easy to grow in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil, it’s drought-tolerant once established, generally deer-resistant, and pollinator-friendly.
